Inazuma Eleven 2 Firestorm ( DS)

Quick Overview

Gamers return to the world of teenage goalkeeper Mark Evans and his Raimon Eleven football team in this quirky "Aliens play Soccer" outing for the Nintendo handheld. The action resumes one week after Raimon Eleven's victory in the Football Frontier tournament. During a training session Mark's school is attacked by aliens from the intergalactic and mysterious Alius Academy. Their plan? To destroy the world via.. football. Of course, Mark and his team must defeat Alius using a variety of tactics, strategies and the correct selection of recruited players. This is where the RPG elements of the Inazuma Eleven series come into play. There are some 1,500 players to encounter and recruit along the way. And this is an integral part of the game-play because making the correct selection from the available team roster is one of the key elements to victory over the alien invaders (and their 4-4-2 formation). The gamer must make the decision as to who to buy, who to keep and who to put on the transfer market for the good of the team.. and the world. The game sees the player control the on-pitch action, including player movement, using the stylus. This means tapping and sliding the stylus across the screen to change the direction of players, as well as taking a shot or even defensively and offensively pressing the opponent's team. Inazuma Eleven 2: Firestorm differs from Inazuma Eleven 2: Blizzard in that each version has 150 unique characters and teams. These also bring with them their own abilities and special moves. Inazuma Eleven 2: Firestorm can be played either as a standalone single-player title or against other players via local wireless multiplayer mode. This means that up to four gamers can challenge each other's teams (including those who own the first Inazuma Eleven game). In-game players can also be bought and sold using local wireless communications, while Teamshare mode allows the gamer to trade teams with other players and battle their teams.
